Naughty Dog’s Uncharted series has come a long way since it made its debut in the Fall of 2007. Naughty Dog has perfected the concept of co-op gameplay, allowing up to eight players to work together to combat dangerous adversaries, in what I would describe as one of the finest moments in-game history. The nature of the gameplay highlights the game’s superior graphics, sound quality and wards a likeable character, which is most of the way throughout the threequel.

My particular favourite was the moment in the game’s third act, when Drake lets the limo driver go ahead of him to give chase to the shooter. The chase lasts fifteen minutes and it was one of my favourite moments in any game this generation.
The main plot is of course non-binding and, like most games of this generation, revolves around Nathan Drake’s journey from being a nobody to becoming the everything that he is. There are eight separate chapters in the game, which are all connected with each other, leading you to think of them as a single entity. The top tier visuals are grit and wet, the characters are rich and in-depth and each of the tasks that must be done throughout the eight levels is quite challenging.
DMC has also paid attention to detail, ensuring that environmental detail fits the crime drama that surrounds it. You will notice signs of having been through taxing ordeals, such as broken windows and damaged cars, as well as picking up trash and taxi drivers that are stuck behind traffic lights.
Although Deception is the first game in the series to use a split screen, it has been found that the situation doesn’t benefit the single player experience much and it is most likely that going through the game with a friend will not result in a better gaming experience.
Since you will have to play the two-player campaign with a friend in split screen mode, you will have to switch between the two characters and skip the mission that would normally be played with Nathan. The two characters that you play with in the two player mode are Hunter and Nimble, and I found that Hunter was most comfortable and logical when being played as, while Nimble was a bit faster when it came to doing tasks.
DMC was also responsive when it came to switching between the two characters and the two objects that you need to retrieve is also very useful.

There are only eight levels in the game, but they all have several secrets and hidden bonuses to unearth. For example, there is a level that allows you to steal a truck, which results in a chase on the streets of Los Angeles. You also get to steal a Slide Dungeon, a well-hidden area in the game, where there are a variety of mini-games.
You also win a boxing competition by default, which is fun to play as most of the controls are very similar to the Slide Dungeon, a basketball game that you can also access from the main menu.
The majority of the missions in the game require you to retrieve an item, and instead of the usual “Clear scene” buttons that we are used to in many hidden object games, there are buttons that actually advance the scene. When you are able to get into a car, you will have a variety of ways of getting to the destination.
